Couple things..
Do you have facebook?
Think of twitter as..
- A site solely based on updating your status regarding whatever you want but you’re limited to a short 140 characters. (Similar to what you do on facebook when you update your status)
- A tweet is what they refer to as your status update.
- RT is retweet (similar concept to a tumblr reblog). You can either copy and paste the tweet itself or twitter has a new feature where you can just click on the status and it does it automatically..for you.
- Type in the @(insert username) symbol is used to direct a message towards someone.
-example: If I wanted to direct a message towards you I’d type in “@_poisonivie What’s up?”
- twitpic is used to upload photos to attach to your status update.
